Marley Health - Practitioner Availability

Marley Healthcare allows you to mark the availability of a Practitioner so that appointments can be booked for the time the Practitioner is available. The Practitioner Availability, for now, allows Practitioners to specify a time duration during which appointments are not allowed.

This will override the time availability marked by Practitioner Schedule.

To create a Practitioner Availability, go to:

Home > Healthcare > Consultation > Practitioner Availability

1. Prerequisites

Before creating a Practitioner Availability, these need to be created first:

2. How to Create a Practitioner Availability

Marley Healthcare

  1. Go to Practitioner Availability list, click on Add Practitioner Availability.
  2. For now, Type "Unavailable" is only supported, so leave it to default
  3. Select Reason for absence
  4. Select one of the Scope Type and Scope - Healthcare Practitioner, Medical Department or Healthcare Service Unit. The scope allows to block times of all practitioners of a department or service unit apart from practitioner.
  5. Select Start Date and Start and End times - if the type is Unavailable you'll have to provide an end date

3. Features

When saving an Unavailable slot the system warns if there are any appointments already booked for that time period. System already validates for overlaps with other Unavailable slots for the same scope.
