The Patient Insurance Policy DocType is used to record and manage insurance policy details for a patient. It links a patient to a specific Insurance Payor and policy, ensuring accurate eligibility checks, billing, and claims processing during healthcare encounters.

To create an Patient Insurance Policy, go to:

Home > Healthcare > Insurance > Patient Insurance Policy

1. How to Create an Patient Insurance Policy

1. Go to the Patient Insurance Policy list and click on New.
2. Enter the Patient and Insuraance Payor.
3. Add the Policy Number, Expiry date and Insurance Plan if any.
4. Save and Submit
